SHARE SUNDAY – OCTOBER 18, 2026

        Our Share Sunday for October will benefit the Bethany House. It provides temporary housing, assistance and support to women and children in crisis in Rochester NY that are afflicted with homelessness and instability from domestic violence, incarceration, addiction, mental health, physical illness or poverty.
Bethany House also has “front door services” providing meals, clothing, blankets and hygiene items to the homeless street population. They have a food pantry which distributes food on Tuesday and Thursday as well.
Bethany house is staffed and operated by Catholic Worker Volunteers that operate solely on donations.

As always, the Human Development Committee of St. Lawrence thank you for your generosity as we share a little of what we have. Please have your donations to church by Oct. 18th at 11:00 a.m.

Canned Foods, Dry goods and other non-perishable Food items, Coffee, Sugar, Juice and Drink Mixes.
Paper Cups and Paper Plates, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Aluminum Foil.
Quart and Gallon Ziplock bags Garbage bags (sizes 10, 33, 42 gal.), General Cleaning Supplies.
Disinfectant Wipes, Floor Cleaner, Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Baby Laundry Detergent, Feminine Hygiene Products. Toiletries, Body Wash, Bar Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Deodorant.
Diapers: Newborn, Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, Pull Ups 3T to 6T, Baby Formula and Baby Food
