Invitation to Adopt a Seminarian

The Vocations Committee of the Charlotte/Greece/Hilton Parishes invites parishioners to send an occasional note of encouragement to the seminarians of the Diocese of Rochester, not only to give them a word from “home” but also to thank them for their willingness to discern a vocation to the diocesan priesthood. We need good, holy priests to serve the Church and to carry on the generous pastoral ministry of our priests, and affirming a young man’s call to discern a vocation is something that we can all do.

St. Lawrence is again adopting Charles Moskov and Matthew Smith. All of the parishes have been asked also to include Anthony Nicolosi who is one of our own! Their addresses are below. Please send along only a note or a card, no snacks or treats, and don’t expect that they will respond – they are very busy with their studies and would surely appreciate a note of encouragement! Thank you very much for your consideration, and for praying for our seminarians!
