Faith In Action
Description:
This ministry invites you to deepen your relationship with the Holy Trinity by rediscovering and increasing your Catholic faith through studies, devotions, and homebound parishioners outreach.

Membership:
Chairs and co-chairs are adult men and women. All are invited to participate in the different activities the ministry provides.

Ways To Participate:
Chairs and co-chairs attend quarterly meetings which is usually 1 - 1 ½ hours in length.

Commitment:
Chairs and co-chairs attend quarterly meetings which is usually 1 - 1 ½ hours in length. See the related activities for time commitments.

Skills Required:
Training is provided for any activity you are interested in leading or participating with.

Related Activities:
Adult Bible Studies - DVD and small group discussions Speakers are also invited to lead the group. Lighthouse CD’s are also used for some of the studies. All that is required for this activity is your personal knowledge. Time commitment is 2 hours weekly with 10 or more weekly sessions.
Keeping In Touch (KIT) ministry - Write or visit with a member of the parish who is sick or homebound. This group also bring Communion to those requesting the Eucharist. Training is provided for anyone who is interested in joining this group of volunteers. Time commitment is based on your schedule.
Monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament - All ages are welcome to come and spend some time with our Lord. This is usually done on the first Monday of the month from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The last half hour (3:30 - 4:00) is reserved for group prayer, Benediction, and repose of the Blessed Sacrament. Time commitment can be any amount of time.

Needs:
Bible Study - leaders or speakers familiar with the topic.
Keeping In Touch (KIT) - volunteers to visit sick and homebound.
Adoration - people to volunteer one hour of their time as a monthly commitment.

Guest speakers such as Jeff Cavins.
